Is it necessary to be a showman on Twitter? It’s tempting to put on this show, act or persona … but when it comes to Twitter, less is more.

Real is better than fake. Meaningful conversation with a few is better than spewing your content on many. Be sure to place realistic, measurable goals and expectations on yourself and make sure to breathe. The minute overload sets in, it’s time to take a break.

Remember, be that person others want to follow, set a good example and don’t ask others to do something you’re not willing to do yourself.
