Who’s O.C.’s Super Bowl housing market?
Lansner on Real Estate wants to find out what you think what Orange County community will win the trophy as 2009’s best O.C. town to buy a home. (That’s based on home appreciation, year-over-year median price change for those who’d want to quibble!)
In the playoff spirit, we’ll split the county in four — middle, north inland, south inland and beach — and see what town grabs the most votes within each geography. Then — unlike college football’s playoff — we’ll bring the regional “trophy winners” together for one big “bowl” finale! (An informed voter can do a little research HERE!)
Today: The “91″ Bowl … as in, top of the class in the county’s more northern cities!
Previously:
- The “22″ Bowl … as in, best of breed in the county’s center! CLICK HERE to vote!
- The “Sand” Bowl … as in, leader of the pack in the county’s seashore cities! VOTE HERE!
Next up? The “Saddleback” Bowl … as in, gold-medal living in the county’s foothill towns!

I live in Fullerton, so I like Fullerton. Im not sure why you lumped Fullerton and La Habra together. They are very different cities.
I would have probably put Stanton and Buena Park together, than put Cypress with La Palma and added Los Alamitos. Those cities seem to be more similar.
Where is Anaheim Hills? Villa Park? And I do not know why Costa Mesa is on this list, it’s not even inland!
Yorba Linda is the white Irvine.
Costa Mesa = “north inland”??? clearly that’s an error. that should go for Fountain Valley as well.
I agree with Chris, I think it should’ve been Anaheim Hills. and Villa Park belongs in the 22 Bowl, but is conspicuously missing.
“Yorba Linda is the white Irvine”
don’t you mean, Yorba Linda, what Irvine used to be?
I’m also surprised no Los Al. IMO it’s up there with the best places to live in north county.
I love good ole Tustin. Grew up there and it has some great small town charm. Parts of it have nice, big ranches w/ large lots.
If you get La Habra out of there, the votes for Fullerton will go up. They are very different cities and I too am stumped why they are lumped together.
Yorba Linda - what Irvine wishes it could be with out all the beige neighborhoods

Funny groupings. And Fullerton is really diverse to group with La Habra. North Fullerton is more expensive compared to downtown and the Orangethorpe corridor.
But Fullerton is nice
If you listed GuadaLaHabra by itself, it would get zero votes. Fullerton is a lot better place to live.
What about Atwood? Just kidding.
Tustin and Costa Mesa north county??
GuadaLaHabra - I’ll have to remember that one!!
