Sure is quiet in here. The Doomie Gloomies must still be in shock from the Housing Starts.

  2. NationalBubble.com Says:

once Seeking Alfalfa is telling just half of the story to get more suckers into buying homes before the housing market tanks.

The increase in housing starts is all in apartment buildings. Single family homes actually went down.

“The Commerce Department reported Friday that housing construction rose by 8.2 percent in April to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.03 million units. Building of single-family homes continued to weaken, however. The growth came from a big jump in apartment construction.”

Alfalfa also forgot to mention that oil hit 127 this morning and that consumer confidence plunged to 28-Year Low.

  4. TStaples Says:

Hey, that picture looks like my church!
No. Wait, that looks like my daughter’s school!
No. It really looks like my local shopping center.
On fourth thought, it looks like the local McDonalds.

Come to think of it, they all look the same here on the left coast. NO WONDER Americans have gotten so fat! You go to church seeking spiritual fulfillment, and you end up with a happy meal instead!
